So I just got
this email tonight from Echelle, Thanks girl.
HBO's "Big Love" is set
to air segments of the LDS temple ceremony in a replica of an endowment and Celestial room and using replications of temple clothing. This episode is supposed to air Sunday, March 15th and 9/8c. The attached file is the page from the TV Guide that contains the article - as well as a photo.
If you feel compelled to,
please file complaints with HBO/Time Warner and with the FCC.

MY COMMENTS
As a Member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints...and as a fellow Christian with all my Christian Sisters and other Sisters in Faith. This is a time to UNITE. If they can do it to one of us they will do it to ALL of us. I am asking for all your help...of all faiths to write in and Let HBO know our feelings on privacy of Sacred things. Also for those that released this info whether what you shared with HBO is accurate or not...wow, I do not want to be you...GOD SAVE YOUR SOUL cause at this point you may not have one later. Hope you get smart and remember what the Atonement means and put it into action. ****************MY EMAIL TO HBO****************
Questions for you? have you ever read the Book "The Tipping Point"? Basically it explains that when you have 1 million people united in a common cause it creates a tipping point that creates an explosion of activity. (FYI membership of the LDS church is well over 1 million)
Your decision to air a tv series that portrays mormons incorrectly...we as Christians, play it off that you have no idea what you are talking about and probably don't care. As the saying goes, "you don't know what you don't know". So we let it go. It's not worth our time or energy.
But airing things that are sacred...this is, well, to put it nicely, crossing the line. If there is one thing that LDS people are known for it is their power to network, convert and spread the word. That tipping point has begun, the word is spreading about what you are about to do. If you decide to air your version of these sacred ceremonies...I don't care if they are accurate or not. I will no longer watch or buy any products that are put out by HBO. I WILL network that message to EVERYONE I know. Airing of this episode infringes on our privacy as American citizens. You may not care if I don't support you...that is fine, but word spreads from one, to ten to thousands to millions and beyond. That is a lot of lost profit. It may be short term increase for you, cause people will be curious and tune in. But long term, people will see that it could happen to them and their privacy... which will lead to ...big loss in the end.
If there are two things that the "media" is doing that I can thank you for...
#1 it is airing trash that causes Christians and anyone with morals and values to forget about their differences and united together in a common cause to get rid of "bad media". That was proven when the Catholic Church and other Religions united in support of the LDS faith this past year.
#2 Everytime those that are against the LDS church do stuff like this, it causes another tipping point in missionary work. good or bad media... increases curiosity and interest for people to find out the truth for themselves. SO...Thanks for the free publicity and advertising, it will increase missionary work and conversions big time. This still does not make it right...I request that you take the episode off the air...the series as well. We would rather get our conversions alternative ways.

ARIZONAI probably was not RESPECTFUL enough...I don't care. I speak my mind. Maybe I need more books. I have a Hard time with IGNORANT and STUPID people. AND people that
want to HURT others.

Here are two things you might want to RESPECTFULLY say in your own words to HBO:
"I believe it is wrong for HBO to publicly air portions of sacred ceremonies of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints without permission from the church and based on information obtained by someone who has left the church and may harbor bad feelings toward the church."
And the big one that will ALWAYS get their attention:
"If you air such an episode, I will cancel my subscription to all HBO channels as well as any of its affiliates. I will also refuse to purchase any other entertainment products associated with HBO in any way. And I will encourage my friends and family to do the same."

2. Choose "Broadcast programs showing obscene, profane, and/or indecent material." Then click NEXT.
3. Click "Online Form" then fill out the form with your information and your complaint.
Something you may want to say RESPECTFULLY in your own words to the FCC:
Express your shock and dismay at HBO treating the sacred ceremonies of any religion with such mockery and disregard. Also mention the shady practice of hiring excommunicated/enemies of the Church and giving them a public pulpit to intentionally hurt millions of people around the world..
